  • Description:
Would you like a button system enjoy, something that shows who likes the post X, IPBOARD type or even as here.
It can also be like this:
[Archived] Like Button - Special Captur25
As you can see JScript and joelson0007 like this!
This code was made by the @jScript
It need not be like this but something like that do the same effect.
As may be the same or similar here:
[Archived] Like Button - Special Rifgght[Archived] Like Button - Special HZ0Xc1B
Is how to do this?
I await answers.

You need to have your own external web-hosting to store data and send it back to forumotion. It's not simple at all and it's a complex work which request both javascript and php knowledge.

Thank you for your answer! -Yes thats right , but now i have read in an other forum that there is no need for an "own external web-hosting" and there is an other simple way to implement this "thank-function" !

Anybody an idea how this works?

@R: If you want i can send you the link from this forum via PM!?

Hello!
You can be sure that is possible without external servers! Check the code I made for the "Staff's chatbox", you will see that I use a topic as pseudo database, simple.

And I made this code in the same way: using a topic as database.

Soon I will make a tutorial in the style of "Staff's Chatbox" with installer and uninstaller.

There is a great risk by doing that, in order to get data all members will have a moderator access of that sub-forum/topic(Even though you hide it, it's fairly easy to get to that location with inspector). Let's say I'm a bit experienced with forums, "I'll just go and harm the forum administrator by random topic deletion." That's the reason why topic database thing is not safe to be used for a big community, it's good only for people you trust (staff members).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I learnt about it so far.
