Hire staff?

How do you go about hiring staff on your forum? Do you just make your friends a staff member or will you just post an announcement and let different members send in their applications? How do you do it?

No, we're not hiring staffs based on friendships and things like that. We have a detailed procedure about how to apply for a staff team and all applications are private and visible only to staff supervisor and administrators.

It's best to hire staff from people you know or know for awhile, but sometimes that can't be done and it's best to look on promotion sites to find someone suitable.

other sites hire their friends but Limited on power. for me i will hire a limited friend and hire some of a Community Active members to be part of the staff team

Only professional people who also happen to be friends of mine are considered. You don't want to entrust your forum to a total drama queen who may or may not start shit while you're not looking.

I will go on promotion sites and post an employment topic. It's better on there because there is more traffic and more members so you will have a better job of getting them. I also considered what they did previously. Never hire your friends because it might be the first time as a job on a forum.

I usually like to hire someone that I've worked with before on some other project or someone that I'm friends with. If that can't be done, then I'll post an applications around to find someone for the position.
