Explain Your Avatar

In most forums, we can choose what images to represent the usernames that we use to communicate with other members. An avatar, if used properly, can enhance the quality of its member's overall presentation.

Having a default or removed avatar can be a symbol of anonymity; you probably don't want to "stand out" from the crowd, but you still insist on browsing the forums at the cost of being identified in some way.

With all that said, take a look at your current avatar -- the one you chose to present yourself as — and post about what made you use that as your "face".

My avatar is a picture of my dog. That picture was taken the day we got her at six weeks old. Now she is 4 years old. I wouldn't trade her for anything.

Well, my avatar is about my nickname. Nothing special behind it just found the design to be really nice and good. So that's basically why I'm using it.

Same here... But my nick was Zyon everywhere at first. In 2013 when I registered here too. In 2014 I took Ikerepc wich I'm using for everything

I just googled cute robots and my the robot I use as my avatar showed up. I'm only using it because it is cute, I have no other explanation as to why I'm using it. If I could purchase the robot in my avatar, I totally would

I found my avatar on tumblr. It really isn't that significant, nor does it have any important value or back story to it. I just really like the picture and thought it was neat!
