Punbb.biz Editor (FAQ and Updates)

Hello PunBB Users,

Starting today we've integrated our new Editor which is fairly better than SCEditor which offers Forumotion.

Features:

#1 Improved BB codes with no images, just plain text.
#2 You can fast quote posts in the same page, no page refreshes!
#3 Editing posts is never been so easy, just click edit and editor will show without page refresh.
#4 When you click the Send button, it will instantly send message without page refresh.
#5 Preview your post in the editor without changing pages.
#6 And best of all no more 'Information, your post has been entered successfully' pages.


To use our new Editor just click button in any post and you'll be able to post a new reply.

How to post a reply?
-It's very easy! All you need to do is to visit the topic in which you want to reply. Then click on button regardless in which post you click it, it will be posted as standard replies (as last reply).

How to quote a post?
-Click button and the content will be loaded instantly.

How to edit a post?
-When you click on button you can fast edit the topic, but if you want to go into advanced mode copy the content of the post because it will disappear in advanced mode.

Subject Button?
-Subject button is used as Topic title when you edit your main topic and want to fast rename it without going into advanced mode.

Unexpected error occurred?
-The main reason would be if you changed the board language on some other language. Please back it in English because our forums are optimized for English only.

However, if this is not the case please open new topic in Forum Feedbacks and state the error which you get.

When topic is posted Reputation is not colored?
-Just refresh the page, because we're using Ajax requests to fast submit reply and therefore some effects like Reputation, syntax, inline code won't be shown until you refresh the page.

How to use the URL button?
-When you click the URL button you'll get something like [ url= ][/ url ]. So now all you need to do is to write url=http://yourlink.com and in middle [ url=http://yourlink.com ]Description of link[/ url ].

For example, I want to write google.com and name it Google:

Code:

[url=http://google.com]Google[/url]

It's done by using Ajax. No, it's special reserved for PunBB.

Found a bug! After replying a topic, "Quote" button disappeared and Edit ain't in there too.
