Being an Admin

Anyone here a admin or webmaster? If so what is it like and do you enjoy it?

Yes you will enjoy it especially if your Site is becoming larger and famous

Im a co-admin if that counts ..it took me ages to persuade them to finally put me as admin. I do not have much responsibility at the moment as my site is quite small in comparison to others in the same area however I really enjoy helping out members were possible rather than having to rely on other staff members when they come online.

I run a couple of forums of my own, and I can honestly say that being an admin is both a pleasant and an exhausting activity. Dramas on the forum happen once in a while and they can eventually wear you out because it's your responsibility as admin to calm the members down and establish a peaceful atmosphere in the community you run.

When you run a big site or forums, yes, it's enjoyable to help out members, make things run smoothly and be active at all.

Being an admin is a lot of work.

I am an admin on my forums site. To be honest being admin is like one of the best things to do, but not only that but you make a bunch of new pals, and have tons of guest and users to talk to. I care about my users and my users care about me, and that's the best part of being admin.

I'm admin on various sites, you have to be commited and that's it really.

I run my own metal forum, which started as early as late 2012. Being a proper administrator takes a lot of patience, common sense, and willpower to make a forum succeed. I'd like to think that we're quite established for our theme.
